I just wanted to stop by and share my experience with Nurse Carter. I met nurse Carter about a year ago and I will never forget this woman. At that time I was homeless with little to no help, I was not working and the only person I could depend on was my father who was currently battling cancer. I remember him telling me he just wanted me to be okay, that was all he worried about. I came to Nurse Carter a broken spirit. I tried the CNA Thing before and hit a rough spot, so I tried again and at that point emotionally I was beat down. I remember when I broke down to Nurse Carter and she gave me the best advice, "Don't let no one take anything you need and want away, fight for it" So I dropped out and came back a month later. Now everyone this was my 3rd time trying for this damn CNA lol, but it meant a lot to finish. I'm 20 now and I was 19 then, I remember me walking everyday to school being tired as hell , remind you I also have lupus. Nurse Carter would make sure I was feeling okay, if I ate, she even gave me bus fair, she studied with me and allowed me to come early even while she was teaching other classes just to help me. So when I finally finished we were both tear eyed and promised to keep in touch, and we did she kept up with me all the way up until I finished and passed my test. I just want to say Thankyou, I was even able to help pay for my fathers funeral because I'm working now. Nurse Carter is such a loving and genuine person, it's like she adopts you as family and she'll be my family and forever friend, I literally didn't have a soul but the whole time she kept pushing for me and pushing me. Lol I have tears of joy, when I was younger in the hospital for lupus I use to look to the nurses for guidance and trust and strength and that is why I want to be a Nurse myself, but nurse Carter reminds me of each one of those nurses that helped become the strong woman I am now. And now I pay my bills, and I'm starting nursing school in January. And I give thanks to Nurse Carter, she really has changed my life and now I'm independent, so if you want someone who truly cares and sacrifices, this school and this woman is everything, it gets no better then this and also Thankyou so much again Nurse Carter , I appreciate you and I love you

I strongly recommend this school for anybody who's looking to start a career into the medical field. I took the CNA course before but didn't take my state test. I'm glad I decided to retake the class because I really didn't learn as much as I did when I took the class before. The instructor Mrs. Carter is amazing and she really cares about her students and she goes above and beyond.
